Release Wire is designed to be as easy to use as possible, but there’s a chance something has gone wrong along the way.

Remember, you need to sign up to access your account.

Once signed up and logged in (we will email you your login details) you can access your account from the right-hand side of any page on the site.

After that, you can start submitting press releases.

At first, your press releases will require approval. This is to ensure your press releases meet our basic editorial guidelines and are not spam. After you have submitted a sufficient number of releases you will be able to publish your news immediately, without requiring approval.

Submitting press releases

Submitting press releases is easy with Release Wire.

  1. Navigate to Posts -> Add New on the left-hand sidebar
  2. Cut and paste your press release.
  3. If you have an image, remember to upload it, preferably at the top of the release. Click the button indicated to upload images:
    After you’ve selected the right image, remember to select “Insert into post”. All images larger than 250 x 200 px are automatically resized.
  4. Select the relevant category/ies from the list.
  5. Add any keyword tags you wish (this is good for the search engines and will get your release more noticed).
  6. Scroll up and hit “Submit for approval”!

Press releases are fully editable, even after they have been published. Edit or delete releases from Posts -> Posts in the account section.
